1985.09 : SAVANNA RX-7 (FC3S) was introduced.
FC3S Mazda Savanna RX-7 is powered by the 654cc x 2-rotors turbocharged
rotary EGI engine with intercooler that makes 185 horsepower and 25.0kg-m
of torque. The RX-7 adopts new independent multilink rear suspension with
toe control hub.
1986.06 : Savanna RX-7 GT-limited special edition, based on GT-limited,
was added. The features of GT-limited special edition are a leather wrapped
steering wheel, leather seats, leather door trim, CD player, 4W-ABS, and
LSD.
1986.08 : Special edition RX-7 Enfini 1st version was introduced. The features
of the RX-7 Enfini 1st version are BBS alloy wheels, exclusive developed
dampers, an aluminum hood, special seats (2 seater), and MOMO steering
wheel.
1987.08 : MAZDA introduced RX-7 convertible in commemoration of the 20th
anniversary of the debut of the rotary engine. RX-7 convertible is equipped
with a electric convertible roof and a wind-blocker.
1989.04 : There were some minor changes. The 13B engine has been improved
by adopting the independent twin scrolling turbo and by updating the compression
ratio, and engine power is increased to 205 horsepower and 27.5kg-m of
torque. And RX-7 adopts high-spec dampers, ball-joint bushes on stabilizers,
front and rear design, and colored protector moldings.
1989.09 : Special edition RX-7 Enfini 3rd version was introduced. RX-7
Enfini 3rd version, based on the GT-X ,is powered by a improved 13B engine
that makes 215 horsepower and 28.0kg-m of torque.
1990.06 : Special edition RX-7 Enfini 4th version was introduced. RX-7
Enfini 4th version, based on the GT-X, is powered by a improved 13B engine
that makes 215 horsepower and 28.0kg-m of torque. And it is equipped with
the Torsen LSD, P-ZERO 205/55R16 tires, BBS alloy wheels, and bucket seats.
